Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how dv developer (“Service Provider,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use LiteOS Launcher: Themes & Icons and its related services (collectively, the “Application”). It also explains your choices and privacy rights.
1. Information Processed on Your Device
The Application processes certain information locally to provide launcher functions. Unless a feature expressly says otherwise, this information is not uploaded to our servers:
- Installed-app information: app names, icons, package identifiers and launch information used to display, organize, search and open apps.
- Launcher preferences: layouts, folders, grid settings, themes, icon styles, gestures, transitions, renamed labels, hidden-app selections and widget configuration.
- Recently opened apps: local launcher history used to provide recent-app features.
- Wallpaper and custom-icon selections: media you select so the Application can preview, apply or use it as instructed.
- Notification information: if you voluntarily enable notification access, notification status and content may be processed on-device to show supported badges or previews.
- Screen-lock confirmation: where supported, the device’s system confirmation may be used to protect hidden apps. The Application does not receive or store your device PIN, password or biometric template.
- Backup data: settings included in a backup you choose to export or restore. You control where exported files are stored or shared.
You can manage optional permissions and special access in device settings. Revoking access may disable the related feature.
2. Information Collected Through Online Services and SDKs
When the Application connects to online services, we or our service providers may automatically collect or receive the following information, depending on the SDK, feature, region, consent choices and device settings:
| Category | Examples | Purposes |
|---|---|---|
| Device identifiers | Advertising ID, app-instance or installation identifiers and similar identifiers | Advertising, analytics, fraud prevention, security and service operation |
| Device and network information | IP address, device model, language, operating-system and app version, carrier, network type and general region inferred from IP | Online content delivery, compatibility, diagnostics, security and advertising |
| App activity | App launches, screens or features viewed, session duration, interactions and ad impressions or clicks | Analytics, product improvement, advertising and performance measurement |
| Diagnostics | Crash logs, stack traces, performance data and technical error information | Stability, troubleshooting, security and product improvement |
| Consent and advertising choices | Consent status and advertising-preference signals | Remembering choices and meeting legal or policy obligations |
We do not require you to create an account, and we do not intentionally collect your contacts, SMS messages, call logs, precise location, payment-card data or device screen-lock credentials.
3. How We Use Information
Information may be used to provide and maintain the Application; retrieve themes, wallpapers, remote configuration and other online content; display and measure advertisements; understand feature usage; detect fraud and abuse; diagnose crashes; improve performance and compatibility; comply with legal obligations; and respond to support or privacy requests.
4. Advertising and Your Choices
The Application may show personalized or non-personalized advertisements. Advertising providers may use identifiers, app activity, IP-derived general location, device information and ad interactions to deliver ads, limit repeated ads, prevent fraud and measure performance. Personalized advertising is used only where allowed by applicable law and your consent or settings.
You can reset or delete your advertising identifier, limit ad personalization, or manage privacy choices through your device settings where available. Users in regions requiring consent may be shown a consent form. You may change an available consent choice through the Application’s privacy options or device settings. The Application also supports privacy-preserving advertising and attribution technologies where available.
5. Third-Party Services
The Application uses third-party services that may process information under their own policies:
- AdMob privacy information
- Firebase privacy and security information
- Google Analytics for Firebase privacy information
- Firebase Crashlytics privacy and security information
- Facebook privacy information
Advertising may involve additional ad-technology providers selected in the advertising platform. Where required, those providers are identified in the consent interface or linked provider list.
6. When Information Is Disclosed
Information may be disclosed to service providers that perform advertising, analytics, crash reporting, hosting, content delivery, security or technical support; when required by law or valid legal process; to protect users, rights, safety and security; or as part of a merger, acquisition or transfer of the Application, subject to appropriate notice and safeguards. We do not permit service providers to use information contrary to their agreements with us.
7. Legal Bases
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, processing is based on one or more of the following: your consent, performance of a service you request, our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving the Application, and compliance with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.
8. Data Retention and Deletion
Local launcher data generally remains on your device until you clear the Application’s data, delete the relevant setting or file, or uninstall the Application. Exported backups remain wherever you place them until you delete them.
Online data is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including security, fraud prevention and legal compliance. Retention periods may vary by service provider and data type. To request deletion of personal information controlled by us, email heshecc8@gmail.com. We may need information sufficient to verify and complete your request. Some third-party data may need to be managed through device settings or the applicable provider.
9. International Transfers
Our service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, transfers are protected through recognized safeguards such as adequacy decisions, contractual protections or other lawful mechanisms.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information. Data transmitted by the Application is protected in transit where supported. No system is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
11. Children’s Privacy
The Application is not directed to children under 13, or under a higher minimum age required by local law, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from such children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where required.
12. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal information; object to certain processing; withdraw consent; or complain to a data-protection authority. You may also have the right to opt out of targeted advertising, sale or sharing as those terms are defined by applicable law, and to receive equal service after exercising your rights.
Submit a request to heshecc8@gmail.com. We may verify your request and may deny or limit it where permitted by law. You may use an authorized agent where applicable. We do not sell personal information for money. Certain advertising disclosures may be treated as “sharing” or targeted advertising under some laws; available consent and device controls may be used to opt out.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the Application, service providers or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy with a new effective date and provide additional notice or obtain consent where required.
